Loveland, CO. (September 12, 2007) – Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery will tap into German food and beer traditions during its annual Rocktoberfest celebration featuring a limited time Bier Garden Menu that includes four new menu items and reintroduces Rock Bottom’s signature Asiago Cheese Dip.

Rock Bottom will also tap its latest specialty brew, Rocktoberfest Bier, a full-bodied Märzen lager rich with toasty malt flavors especially for the occasion. The Bier Garden Menu and Rocktoberfest Bier will be available from Wednesday, Sept., 19, 2007 through Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007.

Rock Bottom’s Bier Garden Menu will showcase an authentic Bierock, a hot sandwich-type of dish with roots deep-seeded in German culinary traditions. Originally served to field workers, Bierocks are also known throughout the Midwest as Runzas. Rock Bottom’s Brat Bierock features sliced bier-poached Bratwurst, caraway sauerkraut, roasted mushrooms, sweet potatoes, onions and Muenster cheese, baked in homemade Honey Brown Ale dough. It’s served with chilled green bean and fennel salad.

To kick-off the celebration, Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery will host the official Rocktoberfest Bier Tapping party:

• Rock Bottom – The Promenade Shops at Centerra
Tapping Party: Wednesday, Sept. 19th at 6:00 p.m.
Featuring FREE pints between 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.
6025 Sky Pond Drive
Loveland, CO 80538

“Our award-winning Brewmasters love the Rocktoberfest season. It’s a time when they pay homage to German brewing traditions with a Rocktoberfest Märzen that is infused with authentic, Bavarian-style hops and flavorful malts that are the foundation of German beers.” said Kevin Reed, Director of Brewing.

In addition to the new Brat Bierock, Rock Bottom’s Bier Garden Menu also includes the return of Rock Bottom’s signature Asiago Dip with Bier Bread and the following three new items:

• Bavarian Stew – A flavorful German stew slow-simmered in mushroom demi with juicy flank steak, country vegetables, fennel, fire-roasted tomatoes, sweet potatoes and house seasonings. Served with homemade beer bread.
• Chicken Schnitzel – Hand-breaded chicken breast sautéed golden and served over sweet potato hash with our original Hefeweizen jus and a green bean and fennel salad.
• Pretzel Bread Pudding – Pretzel bread pudding made with apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, and golden raisins. Served with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
